Don't Spread yourself too thin As a professional Realtor we wear many hats, and it is important to make sure you do not spread yourself too thin. It is very important for quality assurance to my clients, and to my peers that we keep focused. It is not a bad thing to refer business out if needed. I safegaurd myself from this by working on a team. This gives us quality assurance while still being diversified. Short sales are time consuming and labor intensive. By giving all of our short sales to one person it frees up the other team members to focus on first time buyers and investors search for homes. We then split our REO and froclosed homes division into one or two individuals. While all of our residential listings and commercial web marketing are handeled by another. Teams are great, but can quickly be undermined by greed. Communication is key to successful transactions in Real Estate and the proper formation of a Real Estate Team. Don't fall victum to being spread too thin. As a professional we should know what we know, know what we don't know, and understand the difference between them.
